The National Socialist Movement (US Nazi Party), miffed that ronery “Dear Leader” and Zarqawi seem to be getting all the attention lately, came on down to the Washington State capital of Olympia to stir up the pot. They picked a very left wing pot. For those of you not familiar with Olympia, it is home to Evergreen State College, which gave us Rachel Corrie (for those wishing to follow in her footsteps, I hear that PhotoShop courses are a prerequisite).

It was over an hour away, but the opportunity to photograph what happens when an irresistible force meets an immovable wall was too much to resist. You can decide which group is which.

First, the Nazis. They managed to scrape together eleven total.

And then there was everybody else. The police estimated the crowd at 500.

There were all the usual suspects, anarchists, communists, clowns (no, really!) and even a big green thing with furry legs. And what lefty protest would be complete without Che showing up for a photo-op?

The crowd kept up a steady din, drowning out the Nazi speakers (fortunately). For two full hours the Nazis basked in the adulation of the crowd…

… before finally calling it quits, with both side declaring victory. All that’s left is washing the steps, and paying a hundred cops overtime.

At a recent protest against a President Bush visit in Medina, Washington the 9/11-was-an-inside-job crowd was well represented.

Someone is going to have to tell me why believing this is so appealing to these folks. Frankly, our government is so totally inept at keeping any secrets nowadays that it takes the faith of Abraham to believe that a conspiracy of this magnitude could be kept covered up for longer than one New York Times printing cycle.

However, it is consistent with my favorite Frost quote. While sick beasts that worship death are plotting how to kill even more Americans next time, these liberals spend all their energy attacking their own country.

No, 9/11 was not an inside job, but the next successful attack against America will have been helped to some degree by people like these.
